Pete Zimek

Pete is the senior account executive for Broad Beach Media, the Gainesville-based publisher of INsite Magazine, Welcome Magazine, and several others. He has worked as a marketing & sales consultant for several local businesses. He and his wife Jennifer are co-owners, along with Geoff Wilson, of the two Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops in Gainesville. Pete has been featured in the Gainesville Sun’s Business to Business Magazine for his work as a founding board member of Alachua County Emerging Leaders, a group dedicated to the professional, social, and leadership development of 21 to 45 year olds. Pete is active in the community as a member of the Gainesville Advertising Federation and an affiliate member of the Gainesville-Alachua County Board of REALTORS®. Over the past four years, he has served on the organizing committee of the annual Boy’s & Girls Club Caribbean Cruise fundraiser. Pete looks to put his marketing & networking skills to use in assisting HOPE as it continues to grow.
